Wildcat, NH-- Waterville Valley Academy alpine racers A.J. Barry and Kelsie Grant had strong slalom performances at race #2 of 3 in the J3 Regional Series at Wildcat Mountain.

Grant led for the WVA/BBTS ladies winning the 1st run but ending up in 2nd overall. Teammate Lauren Barta just missed joining Grant on the podium by one hundredth of a second, finishing 4th. Jillian Salvucci had the next best finish coming in 7th and Anna Foley battled her was back from 18th after run 1 to finish 11th.

Barry's consistent skiing for the day helped him stand on the podium in 2nd place. James Rowe just missed the podium finishing in 4th, Dougie Deluca placed 5th, Christopher Bertram 6th, Tyler Brown 10th, Walker Huff 11th, Benjamin Slater 13th, Elijah Peake 15th, and Chase St.Laurent 18th.

The WVA/BBTS regional racers are off to Cranmore mountain for a GS on February 26th, the last race of the series!
