WVA offers Alpine Training Programs for J4, J3, J1/2, and PG athletes. Our training venues are located right in our backyard at Waterville Valley Ski Resort. WVA's main training trail, World Cup, is serviced by its own T-Bar, allowing for training through repetition with video review at the bottom of the training course.

The alpine on-snow programs combine training techniques from the US, Austrian, Canadian and Slovenian Ski Federations. The alpine off-snow conditioning and rehabilitation programs follow the Burdenko Method developed by Russian sports scientist Dr. Igor Burdenko.

Our venues combined with an experienced and professional coaching staff led by Tom Barbeau, enable our athletes to reach the highest level of athletic excellence all while keeping a focus on their academic pursuits.
